- Showed Classic Spinal’s colors and accessories (released today).
- Selecting Ultras will likely be in Season Two.
- It’s a lot more difficult creating a completely new character as opposed to revamping an existing character.
- Confirms that ARIA is a she.
- Would like to show in the KI meld some of the original ideas they had for the game.
- Shadow Jago will not be receiving his unique moveset until later this year.
- ARIA name does mean something, wouldn’t say what.
- Iron Galaxy has already started development on Season Two.
- We can expect around another eight characters for Season Two.
- Killer Instinct will be both E3 and EVO.
- No Mercy’s and Ultimates will not be previewed before E3.
- We’ll hear more about a female announcer during Season Two.
- Stages are expensive to build.
- Would be cool if characters received white colors.
- Mike will still be the voice of various things in Season Two.
- Are thinking of new ways to do the story in Season Two.
- No plans to build your own characters in KI.
- KI is one of the main reasons the d-pad was improved upon for the Xbox One.
- Considering brand new fighting archetypes for Season Two.
- The AI in Arcade Mode is more difficult because the AI “learns”.
- They are considering redesigning the games UI (menus, character select screen, etc.).

They are talking about so many things, I highly doubt they will do half of what they are saying. But, the menus really need a revamp.
A woman announcer? Not bad, however, I think that is less important than EVERYTHING else.

Some how I knew it be an she boss lol the name is an dead give away shadow jago should get the boss version less powerful version hopefully soon ,his own music theme, redesign stage 4 more colors and some get up also wanted to see more gear for every character another neat way to earn it by winning rank matches classic stages no mercies and last but least create your own character that would be amazing to see in killer instinct. What you guys think? what’s next ? What’s going to happen the hype is taken by storm all the voice announcers will be back don’t worry already confirm there’s going to be an woman announcer as well good news indeed
I don’t think custom characters would work in KI, and I hope they don’t put that in. Imagine having to face someone’s custom character….you would have NO idea what their moves were until you’re getting hit with them. Every fight would be a complete guess for the first lifebar.
Either way, i’m so hyped.

I completely agree and at the same time I’m totally with u on just about everything u said there including Shadow Jago getting his OWN theme and the No Mercies as well as the all-new FEMALE announcer for Season 2. And just like u I too had a good feeling already that the all-new character Aria IS a female in Season 2. Above all I can’t wait and the HYPE is real for the upcoming arrival and release of Killer Instinct Season 2 beginning with the premiere of the Season 2 trailer at this year’s E3 and EVO gaming conventions ^_^
I am getting totally stoke and pump-up already as well for Season 2 of KI 🙂

Overall today’s highlights have been pretty great and wonderful as well as cool and awesome including on the details for Season 2 and Iron Galaxy Studios already developing Season 2 of Killer Instinct 🙂

I honestly don’t see why not, considering he works for Microsoft and not Double Helix. So I think it’s fair game. Still, a confirmation would be nice. Maybe at E3 or next stream.

Of course, why would he NOT be? I can certainly imagine he will reprise his role ONCE AGAIN as the announcer for Killer Instinct just like he was for both KI1 and KI2. So don’t worry, I’m pretty sure and positive he’ll return to be the announcer for Season 2 overall
ARIA acrually means “wind” or “air”in Italian, but this is just a supposition, maybe it’s an acronym for something ?
Or perhaps even BOTH? But above all we just have to wait and see for more new infos and details on the overall developments for Season 2 of KI
Aria is wind? Think about this…. cinder is fire, glacius ice, maybe more elemental characters in the future starting with wind. Hoping for an electric chick, that would be awesome.

Shadow Jago was supposed to be exclusive to the live card, now thats a lie and they are trying to make it seem like it was limited time offer, BS and unfair,
It was ALWAYS known that it was going to be a limited time offer. Matter of fact, the exclusivity technically expired in Feb.
Seriously, people need to stop complaining. He came with live, it just had to be day one. If you had him day one he doesn’t cost anything. For me I don’t care about clone characters at all even if they play different. Waiting for season 2 characters and shadow jago shouldn’t be one of the season 2 roster of 8, he should be the 9th or be released in between season 1 and 2. Season 2 needs to have 8 returning/brand new characters and if they want to throw in shadow jago at some point then go for it. Wouldn’t you be Pisces if they said “o well we didn’t have time to make to tj combo(etc) because we spent a lot of time on shadow jago”. And if it’s sold the same way, why would I buy the ultra edition when I already have shadow jago.

A lot of people are complaining about it. you make an very good point time is an important key in these sort of saturations time may or may not be a factor. but shadow jago is now more than just an clone character now since day one but I think everybody should get him though whenever he comes out or whoever has him that bought the day one expecting his move set that makes the character more one of an kind to them . People tend to get too serious but it’s an positive one I respect your option fully
