Here are the highlights from today’s Killer Instinct stream from Play XBLA…
- Up to eight players in a single lobby.
- You will have the option to spectate matches from within a lobby.
- You will have the option to mute people in lobbies.
- Thunder retro costume will be released very soon.
- We’ll learn about the new developers of the game sometime after Fulgore’s release.
- They are working on achievement fixes.
- May be able to release some Fulgore screenshots before the trailer’s publication.
- Thinks that a Gallery Mode is a good idea.
- Will continue to explore options for dealing with rage quitters.
- No plans for classic stages.
- Are still considering a Dojo mode for all characters.
- May do camera changes on enders in the future.
- Have been discussing adding more Ultras for each character.
- The upcoming update with Fulgre, Story Mode, and Lobbies is the official end to Season 1. New things may still come after, however.
- Ultra Breakers were discussed but ultimately decided against them.
Gallery mode! I’d love that. The new musical themes, the old Killer Cuts ones, character profiles, and all the unlockable concept art could be moved there 😀
Camera angles for ultra enders would be sweet, too. Hope to hear more info soon!

That and Stage Knock-Offs
Stage knock offs could be some kind of ultra ender, though. Inputting certain command during the ultra itself, for instance.

It’s crazy how still, there’s no type of release date. I just need some closure from hearing about the delay. Glad to hear that season to is at least in mind or in possible development . FUCK! I hate the fact I came from street fighter because of them making more versions of the same game with more characters to this where I have to wait for one character . Dropped 60$ the first day smh . Hope this game lives longer than sf tho . It has a lot of potential .
