You’re absolutely correct on that and I now completely understand that Ultimates/Ultimate Combos and No Mercies are NOT really the same thing, they are NOT entirely one and the same. No Mercies and Ultimates are actually quite different moves from each other too
Ultimates was a way to do the no mercy in the middle of a combo insted of and ultra not just a fancy throw in the air and a slice u cant even see would have just left . I love ki from the start 18 yrs ago its the only reason I bought and xbox one but lets be honest here that ultimate sucked its not ki story mode sucks and throwed together and one of fulgore colors where he has yellow eyes he friggin crosseyed I mean come on people

I completely agree. This game is something different from Mortal Kombat and doesn’t need to be the same in the gore aspect. If they chose to do gore whatever, but I applaud the fact that the game is trying to be something more than just blood.
