Almost every month, Amir and I tend to make some adjustments and changes around the site to better improve it for everyone who visits. The thing is though, we typically don’t talk about those changes and just let them go unannounced. Well I’d like to change that! So starting today, every month going forward when changes have been made, we’ll put together a post similar to this one that details what exactly those changes were. So read on and learn everything that’s new to KIC for October 2015!
Merchandise Pages
It’s hard to find any Killer Instinct fan who doesn’t love KI merchandise just about as much as the games themselves! So what we’ve done is put together a set of merchandise pages that showcases all of the current merchandise currently available for purchase. The pages are located underneath the ‘Merchandise’ tab just beneath the site banner. There are pages specifically tailored for clothing, pins, and the upcoming figures from Ultimate Source. Figures aside since they have yet to be released, the clothing and pins pages include links leading directly the website where the merchandise can be purchased!
Interviews Tab
Also located beneath the site banner is a new tab for ‘Interviews’. In the past couple of years, we’ve had several exclusive interviews with Maximilian, Kevin Bayliss, Code Mystics, and most recently a two part interview with Ultimate Source. Click any of the links in the ‘Interviews’ tab to read them.
Social Media Tab
Just like the majority of the world, KIC is a large part of social media and we love it! Be it Twitter, Facebook, Tumbler or Instagram, we’re there and we’d love it if you followed us on any of them and love it even more if you follow us on all of them! Located–you guessed it!–just beneath the banner is the ‘Social Media’ tab with links leading directly to all of our current social media placements.

Killer Instinct Games Tab
For those of you who have been long time visitors of KIC, then you’ll remember that the KI games were originally listed one-by-one and took up the entire bar space beneath that banner. Well we decided it would be best to rather place them all into one specific tab for a more refreshing and organized presentation. So when you highlight that ‘Killer Instinct Games’ tab, you’ll be presented with a drop list of the current games in the franchise with relevant information available for each of those games including move lists, Achievements, Credits, and so forth.
Updated Background
The background that shows off many of the old school classic KI characters has received a bit of an update. Originally, the characters were displayed in a much smaller format, but now we’ve zoomed it in and spaced them out giving you a clearer, better view of those who are being represented.
So that’s the jist of everything that was changed, adjusted, and/or added this month. Now we absolutely love feedback and want know what your thought process is on the changes that have been made. Was there something you disliked? Do you have some ideas of your own that you would like to see changed or added to the site? This website isn’t just for us, it’s also for all of you who are visiting whether you’re new or have been here since the beginning!

I do like the new backgrounds but, I think the text should match the other characters. If you could put that special text to the S1 cast, it’d be perfect! Thanks!

You should change the character portraits, having a mix between ki 1 and 2 with a random photo of ki remake doesn’t look good, you should use the character select portraits or the character icons that appear at mid-fight
