From the very launch of Killer Instinct Xbox One and even before, KI fans have been asking one singular question:when can we purchase a soundtrack to the game? You’ve been teased, you’ve been told it’s coming, and now you’ve got a date! On September 23rd to coincide with the launch of the Killer Instinct Combo Breaker Edition retail release, Killer Instinct: Season One Killer Cuts and the original Killer Cuts will officially be released! Now no pricing or info on whether it will be digital only or physical only has been revealed as of yet, but we will update this post once it has!

Hopefully the all-new Killer Cuts WILL be release in a physical format/in a physical CD and overall in a PHYSICAL copy too so that way I will be able to get it once the new Killer Cuts releases next month
I’m hoping there’ll be a physical media option for both of these soundtracks. I’m an old fart who greatly prefers physical media to digital, has been collecting fighting game soundtrack CDs for donkey’s ages, and would like to see these 2 on m’shelf alongside the original Killer Cuts CD.

Awesome news! Now I’m curious to know HOW it will be sold… a CD? Digital / MP3? Bundled with the retail disc (hope not)? I already have the original KI Cuts so I’ll be skipping that one.

From what I understand (and I could be wrong on this) but u don’t need to pay again for Season 2

you’re wrong Mike, of course you gotta paid again, the Season 1 was 20$, the season 1 is ”over” now and the S2 is coming, they don’t work for free, it will be 20$ for S2 combo breaker pack and 40$ for ultra pack
