Classic Killer Instinct 2 Content Update On November 20th

On November 20th, Classic Killer Instinct 2 will receive its first content update via its developer Code Mystics. The update will contain several fixes to bugs and glitches as well a few requested features. Here’s the full list of changes available for the game this Thursday…

•”Signal strength” bar added to character select screen to help you identify fast connections vs. slow ones before you start a match.

•Added two new filter modes in Display Settings (CRT and Raster are now split into CRT 1/2 and Raster 1/2). The new versions are toned down, and more in line with what’s been requested.

•When Gargos is unlocked he’ll remain unlocked (except in online games where you’ll have to unlock him each online match you want to use him)

•Put the countdown timer back in on Ranked Match character select screen

•Ranked matches won’t let your opponent change the game speed to FAST or ULTRA anymore

•The CPU no longer blocks certain character colours in training mode

•Moved chat to a different CPU core, so that it doesn’t impact netcode

•We’ve added some code that will help us check your connection if you experience netcode problems

•Up+View will now activate random character selection on a Fight Stick too

•Some error messaging has been tweaked

•Some bug fixes related to uncommon problems entering/exiting online matches

•The brief stall in no mercy has been fixed
