Earlier today Shoryuken released an article, Microsoft Gathering Community Opinions on Porting Killer Instinct to PC, about Microsoft testing the waters on interest in a PC port of Killer Instinct that got a lot of people talking.
Fortunately, it appears as if the developers are taking note of this issue. Microsoft Studios creative director Adam Isgreen recently took to the official Killer Instinct forums to consolidate a number of threads centered around discussion of a possible PC port, even going as far to put together a poll to gauge the community’s reception to the idea.
This is some pretty interesting activity. If enough positive reaction and interest is shown and Microsoft/Iron Galaxy actually have the resources and time to create the port, this could be really great news for Killer Instinct. The potential outcome of the player base growing would give the game greater support and longevity. Also if cross-platform online multiplayer was possible there would be no need to worry about the player base being divided.

Never – pirates will TORRENT KI – and its for 100% – so they wont just loosing exlusivenes – but all money for sure! KI on PC nonsense. Just remember Street Fighter – all my friend have a full version with all costumes for free)))))
pirate exist on consoles too, and one of KI’s main focus’s is online play so whats the point in torrenting it? even if someone does torrent it theyre probably gunna buy it eventually to go online with their friends and earn steam achievements (hoping it goes through steam)
I rather see ports of Halo and Gears on PC than KI. Putting it on PC takes the uniqueness out if it IMO. There are lot of people that have NOT bought XBOX One yet and KI is a reason a lot of people do buy it.
Great, cool, and awesome. I’m definitely all for Killer Instinct’s potential arrival for and release on the PC port. You count me in too on the PC version of Killer Instinct
I can understand the PC port for a better player base and more players but I have to think that the PC port even though it would do well will bring down the Xbox one sales. If you have been making n producing games for a new platform that u want players to purchase to experience why would u give the few exclusives worthwhile playing on the Xbox one away?
I think most of the hardcore KI fans out there would have bought an Xbox One by now so I can’t see it affecting sales much at all.
I have to agree with Jaime. It is an exclusive game only to xbox one but putting it on PC would attract more players that don’t have an xbox one and the fan base would defitnitly grow. The real question us how many PC owners are willing to buy it? Is this something The company should really spend some money on only to have it lose money when they find that sales are poor on PC? I think the best experience is always on the game console and besides; this game is still going through some changes.
I do not own an Xbox one, it is very expensive system and hard for me to get any of the new systems the only ones I have is an xbox 360 and a gaming PC. I would buy this game instantly if it was on PC, I mean please guys even Street fighter 5 is going to be released on PC as well you would make sooooo much more money if it was on PC. As a huge fighting game fan PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release it on PC so I can give you my money and my love, thank you for your time and great work as usual guys.
