For a limited time, owners of Killer Instinct Xbox One’s Combo Breaker Edition can finally upgrade to the Ultra Edition of the game. From now until May 26th, Combo Breaker owners will pay $20 to upgrade to the Ultra Edition, which includes all retro costumes, the extra accessory packs, and the Classic Killer Instinct arcade game. Now if you don’t own either version of the game, the Ultra Edition is on sale for you also. You can purchase the Ultra version for 12% off, reducing it’s normal $40 price tag to $35.20. So if you are one of the many, many KI fans who have been asking for an upgrade option or you would like to purchase the game at a discounted price, then take advantage of the upgrade and sale while within the next week before it goes away!

that’s stupid they should have done this from the start. If someone brought the 20$ edition of KI “WE” should had an option to upgreade to like another 20 Bucks. Now I feel cheated plus ripped off. I mean I had to pay about 24$ plus Tax (Thanks alot Microsoft) for the extra taxes. And I had to get the ultra edition I was hoping I could uograde to the ultra edition for a discount like 20$. But nope extra ful price of 40$ Tax 6 grand total of 70$
I upgraded to Ultra from Combo…all my save/progress reset. Total B.S.

Looks like it is not available in Germany. Really disapointing if this upgrade will be available only in US. :(((
