March has finally arrived and it’s going to be a very exciting and fun-filled month for Killer Instinct fans! A new character, new game modes and more are being prepared to launch later this month! I’ve posted a briefly detailed list of features below on what you all can expect to see within the next few weeks.

Fulgore- Killer Instinct’s accepted mascot finally makes his Xbox One day debut this month! Updated with a new, yet familiar look and both brand new and traditional moves, Fulgore may be the most anticipated character yet! Catch a brief glimpse of him at the end of the trailer below and get hyped for his March release!

Story/Arcade Mode- If you’ve been craving for a game mode driven by story and replayability outside of the online match-ups, be prepared to be satisfied! Story/Arcade Mode will be launching simultaneously with Fulgore and is expected to be familiar to the arcade modes in the previous Killer Instinct games. So be ready to play through it multiple times get the full experience! Lobbies- From the outset of Killer Instinct’s launch in November, players have been asking for lobbies–a place where a group of players can gather together and play together online. Originally planned to launch with Spinal in January, the lobbies were unfortunately delayed to a later date. They should finally be releasing this month, however, and it’s possible that the ability to spectate matches will also be included!

More Classic Costumes- Thus far, KI has received four classic costumes: one for Jago, Orchid, Glacius and Sabrewulf. That leaves four characters left still, and I suspect that Thunder and/or Spinal will be the next to receive their retro outfits. Expect more this month!

New Achievements- Accompanying both Fulgore and Story/Arcade Mode later this month will be some brand new achievements unlock. You can expect a near identical set of achievements pertaining to Fulgore compared to the rest of the roster; the other achievements will be tied directly to the Story/Arcade Mode. Think you can unlock them all?

Killer Cuts Returns- A brand new Killer Cuts will be released at the end of the month, containing the highly praised new KI soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon. Will it be digital? Physical? Both? Who cares?! Just take our money and let us have it!

New Merchandise- From the offset of Killer Instincts November release, the franchise has been receiving various different types of merchandise. A fighstick, pins and t-shirts for example. Later this month, there will be more merchandise available to purchase. A Glacius Pin, for one, and something else that has yet-to-be announced. Oh, and did I mention that a Killer Instinct leather jacket is being considered for the future? Yeah… Be excited!

New PIN Challenge- Exclusive to owners of the Killer Instinct Pin Ultimate Edition of the game, a brand new PIN challenge will be introduced later this month. Previous challenges rewarded accomplished played with a KI Logo Pin and a Supreme Pin. Details on the new Pin coming soon!

General Fixes And Updates- There is always a pesky bug in KI that needs to be fixed and something that could use an update of sorts. When this months big update (or updates!) hits, expect to see some additional changes along with the previously listed features.
