If you’re a hardcore KI fan that has been dedicated to playing Killer Instinct: Season One since its launch last November, then Microsoft is going to reward you with a very special treat once Season Two launches. Announced by Microsoft creative direct Adam Isgreen, veteran KI players will be exclusively receiving ‘Veteran Badges’.

There are different types of badges that will be rewarded, each depending on your character titles and overall fight titles:

Character titles:
Your reward is based on the highest % completion of any individual character’s fight titles, as below:
•100% – Legend (Platinum)
•60% to 99% – Master (Gold)
•30% to 59% – Warrior (Silver)
•1% to 29% – Explorer (Bronze)

Overall fight titles:
Your reward is based on the total fight titles possible in the game vs. the number of them you completed, as below:
•75% to 100% – Black Belt
•50% to 74% – Brown Belt
•25% to 49% – Red Belt
•10% to 24% – Purple Belt
•1% to 9% – Blue Belt

As Adam says in the Ultra-Combo post, these are only available to Season One players. So thank you all for your support and dedication to KI and I hope you’ll display your much deserved awards with pride!
