Double Helix Community Manager, Rich Bantegui, has confirmed that an upcoming patch for Killer Instinct Xbox One will fix its broken jail and rank systems as well as some glitches with Spinal. Following last month’s update on the 31st, innocent players have been being put into jail, a place that was planned for those who consistently rage quit. In addition to this, the newly optimized ranking system has seen players in repeated match-ups with the same opponent consecutive times as well as extended waiting periods for finding a match. And finally, there has been more-than-a-few issues with Spinal including distorted sounds when performing an Ultra, glitched Achievements, game freezes and more.
Thankfully, all of the aforementioned things plus more should be fixed relatively soon. So the next time you’re prompted for an update to the game, then the patch has officially been pushed through. Fingers crossed no new issues come along with it!
Ranked ki is still so freaking broken,as a new player you are constantly matched up with players that out rank you by light years.why can you match up against players of equal rankor some1 not that far ahead
Fix the game. trying to play killer instinct offline doesn’t work. it’s probably because of January’s update. killer instinct works if you launch the game. but the game closes right after you press start. i’m trying to play KI @ my brothers place. it worked before but now it doesn’t. go and try it out disconnect you’re Xbox one right now. launch KI than press start see what happens.

Finnaly! Game always didn’t load the levels in ranked and I’m pretty much in jail forever because of rage quiters. Even though I love rage quiters because the last thing you here usually is “fuck!”
