She clearly says “cima” (up) and “baixo” (down) when doing her above and below attacks. When she throws her daggers she seems to say “corta” (cut) and “rede” (net) but it’s not so clear.

Guess we’ll have to wait and listen. From what I can hear now, the woman singing in her theme doesn’t seem to be actually saying anything. Nothing that makes sense, anyway.
No, the theme we were able to listen is not in Portuguese at all. But Maya speaks Portuguese indeed, and I think that is very cool, specially for the Brazilian fans like me, however, the Portuguese she speaks appears to have an strange accent.
You’re right Lorde Varuna, that is a strange accent indeed, not quite Brazilian, not quite Portuguese either (Iām from Portugal myself). What do you think she says when she throws the daggers?
They always hire people that have Spanish as native language to dub Brazilian characters that speak Portuguese (like in Max Payne 3). This pisses me off.
I think when the throws the daggers, she says: “E corta!” and, I’m not sure, but I think she says “Treze!” (13) when she throws the second dagger.
So when Maya says “E corta” when she throws her 1st dagger, that means “And cut”? You may need/want to correct me on that one Lorde in case I got it wrong. And when she throws her 2nd dagger, what exactly does “Treze” mean?
