In response to a Xbox fan suggesting Phil Spencer (Head of Microsoft Game Studios) remember their past IP, Phil confirmed that not only has Killer Instinct been a success, but we’ll see more IP return as well. “Success with KI was a good sign and you’ll see some more IP return”.

This is definitely great news as it means a second season of KI is highly likely. And the return of more IP is always great to, right? Microsoft has many, many IP at their exposure (especially from Rare), so to see Banjo-Kazooie, Battletoads, Viva Pinata and others potentially make a comeback would be amazing, right? Time will tell, so fingers crossed it will come to pass!
