I had the privilege of attending Major League Gaming this weekend and watching all of the Killer Instinct action live in person. saberwulf is not unfair at all he has unique abilities just like everyone else when executed correctly he becomes dangerous but to say he is unfair is wrong because if that were the case then spinals ability to take your instinct and special meter along with his fast one frame teleports are cheap or glacius extremely unfair zoning ability and long limbs or sadiras entire instinct capabilities and I can go on and on but the point is everyone if unique and skilled in their own way it just takes the right person to use them and Justin wong is one of the best fighting game players of all time
Ok, Is true J.WOng is a really good player. I dint say sabre is unfair , i say he is too easy to use , and too efective. Any way, in one way or another ,all figthing games had this type of charatcer . I will enjoy this game for a lot of time besides the minor issues it has , is fun and competitive. I hope Iron Glx. to do a great job om season 2.
What you say about Saberwulf is nonsense. If that was the case you’d have a massive amount of high ranked wolfs. There aren’t. He’s not as easy to be good with as you make out and unlike the likes of Jago he isn’t overpowered either. Also, you do have to change the way you play with him for each character your fighting. Take the likes of thunder for example.you have to keep your distance and play footseys a lot more. Sadira you have to work more anti air. I main saberwulf, hes only effective if your good with him and have good tactics.
I got your point. Jago is too strong , easy manuals and a lot of attacks that keep him safe and positive, he is a *little* overpowered too . But More than 30% of the top finalist on tournaments play sabrewolf, he is effective more easy to use than any other character. A not so good player with sabrewolf could beat any other player medium or high level more easy than with any other character. Light punch is so good with him that him can punish almost any mistake with a combo starting with this . I know , and understand what you say, but can you name any other character in this game easier to use than him. I mean he punish with combos starting with easy light punch and or shadow crescent moon , if you get a lock out with any other character you must to know which is your best combo and do it linking and using hard auto doubles , shadow linkers etc , with sabre just hit hard punch or hard kick until you want to use shadow linkers and do the ender which is back forward or down up + hard punch or kick. If you dash and cross over and execute the crescent moon, shadow crescent moon or the light punch or kick i cant block unless i was risking my guard pushing forward when you were in front of me this is very risky because Im open to any thing you want to do. Is possible to beat him, yes. The game is have resources or elements that helps you to win any fight, but his tools are an advantage that makes him harder to beat because he has those resources and elements too. It happens in all fighting games , i know AAA characters, but maybe this can be fixed jut put 3 frames or 4 to recovery. I don’t have much time to play but i have seen great players , like Rico suave, Grimmz , Crazy Dominican,kikomasterRD and others , before this weekend , saying that sabre is overpowered or too effective and easy to use. I dont main him , but in order to know him better i play with him some times in local vs with him and im sure i don’t use him a s good as you , but i have tested the things i say. This game is Great , this game is way better than haters think/say. I love Ki.
But i must say that in my opinion , sabrewolf is too efective , this game could be a lot better , if he wasnt so efective and easy to use . I dont know if its me , but i think he have too many good tools to mix and execute safely. In a general update maybe all characters could recieve some modifications/changes , on their move seth and values, but sabrewolf must be checked twice. He can figth all the matches doing the same thing. The only character in the game that can do that is him, the others , have to change the way of play on each match. Im not a pro , but thats my opinon based on what i haved seen on tournamets and , videos of top players.
