Yes! Win 10 and middleware integration is what’s underway right now.

Any update for Shadow Jago.. How is looking . And when we can expected to be release

Shago will launch before the end of the year. We’re currently discussing overall changes (e.g. does he need both wind kick and slide) to him at this point. Nothing definitive to share just yet.

What helps you guys judge whether or not a character is balanced?

Lots of play, lots of observation of play, looking at behaviors and projecting forwards on how their play styles will evolve. It’s an ongoing process.

Is the KI Team at IG developing the PC port, or is it a separate team of PC-experts at IG?

It’s some of the KI Team, and others at IG as well.

Are there currently and plans to adjust lighting on stages or other graphical touch ups?

Lots of plans. Depends on KI’s future if they happen or not.

Will Shadow Jago get a trailer before release like the S2 characters?

We’ve talked about it – we have to figure out his voice!

– any timeframe for the rest of the shadows to be done?

The next update will add Kan-Ra, Omen, Riptor, and Aganos to the shadow roster. Following that, Hisako, Cinder, and ARIA will be added!

About shago… is he is going to have the boss moveset or entire new moveset? If he has the boss moveset wouldn’t that overshadow omen?

Omen and b.shago play nothing alike even now. I wouldn’t worry about real overlap.

Will Shadow Jago get his ultimate as well when it comes out?

YES. Only on Shadow Tiger’s Lair though. (cue everyone only playing shago on shadow tiger’s lair)

Online Ranked Leauges talk has sort of died down… Have you decided on if the point system and Tier ranking will change or stay as is? Is it still beta or is it final? I know many wanted the option to either reset and re qualify or have the option to rank down due to some made it to Killer rank to easily when the League first dropped and now they wish they were not in Killer. ( I wish i had this problem LOL but Im still stuck in gold 🙂

James G: We have received tons of feedback on leagues and definitely have some adjustments coming. The one thing I can talk about now (while not official yet), we are considering giving players the option to ‘requalify’, letting them start from scratch in qualifiers again and re-climb the ladders. Possible, sure. Likely? No. Stages are rather expensive to build and tune for performance, and we’ve already got a LOT of them in the game. Given the choice, we’d rather spend our development resources on other areas of the game first, like characters, overall graphics, networking, modes, and game systems. To put it another way, would you rather have a new character, or a few (old) stages brought up to current standards? Because that’s close to the trade-off.

Any consideration being put in for Shadow Jago Achievements?

Yes. We’d like him to have achievements.

Shadow Jago will have a new ultra or is he going to keep jago’s ultra?

He will have a new one!

How different is the execution of Season 2 from what was initially planned? Were there things that turned out better than planned?

Shadows were a “what if…” that turned into an amazing feature. When we hear people say “I don’t want to play against regular AI any longer” I think we’ve done something right.

i know that it may be a tad bit late asking this but is there a chance that KI can get a Tag-Team mode? I really like that idea. my dream team would be Maya & ARIA, what would yours be if KI had it?

Tag-team mode is oft requested, but rarely used outside of games that center on the use of tag-teams. We didn’t balance the game around it, and it would come with a bunch of expectations from other games (assists, etc.) that KI’s engine doesn’t support at a core level. While it could happen, it’s not the highest of priorities for us if we think about the future of the game.

ARIA announcer is fine by the most part but lacks the hype present in the combo breakers and counter breakers, as well as the ultras. Based on feedback is there a possiblity that those particular lines will be adjusted?

Our audio director here at Microsoft is out on vacation this week, but I’ve already forwarded him the thread that y’all started on ARIA announcer feedback with an ear towards pumping up a few aspects of her announcer voice. We want it to be a viable option!

when will the Announcers say stuff like Banished and knock off and so on for the the stage Ultras you’s have said they have been recorded but when will they be put in the game?

Those are coming soon – one or two updates from now!

Stupid question… If you were to have to pick, what would be the official car of Killer Instinct?

I think an American muscle car is the way to go, and in the spirit of KI, I’d say we’d need both a retro – Late 60’s Camaro or a late 60’s Fastback Mustang – and a modern: New Camaro, Mustang, or Challenger! At least, they’re good places to start.

This is the first time I’ve participated in the Q&A thread, here goes. I really enjoyed last year’s panel at EVO, will you guys be having another? If so could we get a small hint as to what you plan to discuss?

Yes! We will have a panel at EVO. It is scheduled for Friday, I believe. As to content, I will say there will be things to see there that would be better appreciated if you were there to see them yourself!
