It’s an immensely sad day for the Killer Instinct community today as we’ve unfortunately lost one our own. With a saddened heart I’m afraid to report that Terrance Moore a.k.a Pushatee, passed away last night. He was at the SuperArcade in Walnut, CA to compete in their weekly Killer Instinct tournament with other players when he suddenly passed out. Paramedics were called to the scene immediately via the fast reaction of some of those around him, but they were unfortunately unable to revive him at the hospital. He died from what was allegedly a heart attack.

Amir and I post a lot of news here on KIC on a weekly and monthly basis, but since our venture began back in July of 2013, we’ve never had to report on the loss of an individual in the KI community. I didn’t know Terrance personally and never had the privilege of meeting him, but I know that he has been a prominent individual in the KI community since the game’s announcement and launch last year. My heart truly goes out to his wife and two kids he leaves behind as well as to his friends and everyone that really close to him.

Now just like with anyone in life who passes on, there’s always a cost involved afterwards and Terrance is no exception to the facts. Funeral expenses and other things are needed to give support to his immediate family, and that’s where we all come together to pitch in and assist in whatever way we can. Super Arcade will be selling wrist bands tonight on location in Walnut, CA with all proceeds going to the family. They will be streaming, so I think you can also donate during the stream, which you can tune into at this link beginning at 6PM PST and running through to 3AM tomorrow morning. Grimmmz will also be running his own donation drive for him via stream later on too. If you’d like to donate right now, you can do so at the link provided below, which has already raised a significant amount of money.

  1. I didn’t know Pusha or any of the C88’s but its never easy to hear about a passing whether you knew them or not. I give my heartfelt condolences to close friends and family of Terrence Moore. I’ve haven’t been part of the FGC long enough to meet any of the top players or go to as many events but I see everyone in the FGC as family and it’s never easy to lose family. We love you Pushatee and hope you’re still kicking ass on the other side.

Although I am not deep in the community my thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew him… truly a sad day for eveyone and I just hope he is at peace wherevr he is now.
