On the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy, the new Killer Instinct a few brief appearances on the show. Unlike most video game appearances on hit tv shows, KI didn’t receive just a quick showing on the television screen and that was the end of it; no, it was actually in a scene for a good one-two minutes. KI is shown being played on the tv on more than one occasion, and even when it’s not being shown and the two actors in the scene are conversing with one another, you can clearly hear the combos being announced. At the scenes end, one of the actors even mentions Sabrewulf by name!
While this may not seem like a big deal to many, it’s actually quite important considering the popularity of Grey’s Anatomy. Millions of people who have potentially never even heard of Killer Instinct before was just exposed to it, opening up the potential for any one of those viewers to be a buyer of Xbox One and KI once it’s released. Here’s hoping for even more tv appearances on the future!
And hopefully more new seasons and characters as well as bringing back certain features from the series to the new KI such as No Mercies/Danger Moves and Stage Finishers
