Welcome to the second Killer Instinct Central Tournament!

The KIC Killer Tournament II will start on Friday January 24th. Sign ups for the tournament will start today, Saturday January 18th. If you are interested in competing please post in this thread the gamertag that you will be using to compete with and your general location so we can best match you initially with other people near you. If you are in North America letting us know if you are West Coast/East Coast/MidWest would be helpful. You will have until Thursday night at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time January 23rd to enter you name here. Friday morning we will post the brackets with the first rounds competitors matched up.

The first round will start on Friday January 24th and we will make a thread on our forums for each round with the match ups. So for Round One be on the lookout for a thread called “Round One: January 24th – 30th”. This is where you will also post your round results. Once you see who you are matched up against it is up to you and your competitor to make the match happen.

We will be accepting 32 contestants. The first 32 to post their gamertag and say they want to compete in this thread will be entered. If there is that much more interested we might make a second 32 player bracket and the first place winners of each will duke it out for the finals.

The rules of the tournament are as followed:

• Each round of the tournament will be one week long. You have that week to complete your matches
• Rounds start Friday 12:00 am and end Thursday night 11:59 Pacific time the week of the round. The proof of the matches must be posted in the round specific thread here on the KIC forums within that time frame for it to count
• Within the time frame of the round you will have to fight your assigned opponent best of three rounds, each round consists of a best of three fights, first to win two rounds (this means that a minimum of 4 fights would be played where one person won every fight in a row)
• There is double elimination. So if you lose against your opponent you still have a chance
• For proof of the match winners use the “Xbox, Record That” feature after winning the game. That will record the last 30 seconds of the match showing who won. If the results from your matches are not posted in the time frame you both will be disqualified and will not advance
• We will finally have the final two competitors that will duke it out for first and second place prizes

We will be using Challonge for the brackets and I will send the invites to the brackets using your forum email.
