Happy New Year and welcome to 2014! 2013 was a great year for Killer Instinct fans with the long dormant franchise finally being revived and released seventeen years after the last game, Killer Instinct Gold. This year is already looking to be even better for the franchise, with brand new content coming the game. Spinal will be released later this month along with a new patch for the game, and Fulgore will release in March alongside the much anticipated story mode. In addition to this, the second season of the game will begin later this year and will include more characters and more modes of play, assuming the first season has been successful enough.

I do want to also take a moment to thank all of you who supported the website throughout the year. It has been a great and wonderful experience this far and one that wouldn’t be possible without all of you. So thank you for your support and we pledge to continue to keep you all informed with all of the latest Killer Instinct news. I also want to give a special thanks to everyone at Double Helix for all of their hard work on delivering such an amazing game and specifically to Rich Bantegui and Mick Gordon for their support.
