Later this month, Killer Instinct Xbox One will be receiving a new addition to its roster with the release of Spinal. Not much is currently known about the character, but I have compiled a brief summary of everything that is currently known, so hopefully this will raise your hype level even more in anticipation of his forthcoming release.

Classic Moves Return- As revealed in the Killer Instinct Ultra Fan Book, Spinal will be maintaining some of his traditional moves from the previous games. His Teleport move will return and as well as Skulls, which will likely be his projectile-based move.

A Shield That Lives- In this game, Spinal is welding a shield that is literally alive! It has the appearance of a kraken and Double Helix has confirmed that it will play a significant role in how Spinal will be utilized in battle.

Ancient Attire- Spinal’s attire consists of many different elements. His living shield, the stern of a ship, ropes and more. What makes each of these items significant is that they were gathered from different cultures throughout the centuries from ancient times to the present day.

Shipwreck Cove- This serves as Spinal’s stage, a shore that is home to many ancient vessels that fell victim to the skeletal warriors trek across the seas. Many souls, downed ships, creatures and even an ancient kraken have accumulated at the cove.
