  1. Shame these guys had no idea how to play KI and were just mashing buttons! TJ’s intro looked a bit weird and his victory animation, looked like he was grabbing an imaginary belt. Early days though, i’m sure they will change things.

     
    1. Yes, that’s very true and I’m pretty sure that the developers will make additional as well as necessary changes/modifications later on during the development of KI Season 2

       
  2. His combo mechanic is going from ground to air and vise versa with combos. I think it is exclusive to Combo. A few people are saying its for all characters but I think its just for him.

     
    1. The KI E# factsheet from 6/9/14 says that you can keep your combos going on the ground or in the air.While this doesn’t specifically say it’s for all characters,it seems to imply that it’s a new combo mechanic available to all of them.

       
  3. Hello… Boxers don’t slide far distances, they run…. Like Im not feeling the whole slide like a robot punch… It looks like fulgore’s move forreal. Please change his animation to running super fastly… Now that would be cool and will differentiate him from fulgore…

     
    1. yeah i hate the hovering slide shit…i think it would be cool if it was a full screen shadow, if started from a distance, he runs and then as soon as he gets close to the enemy hit box, he lunges a huge 5-hit punch

       
    2. I HATE IT , IT looks CHEAP. I want him runing , like tj combo , no sliding like balrog, axel hawk or duddley . HIS RUNNING moves are like a trade mark of his style, a diferent boxer on figthing games , this is TJ Combo. Dont make this mistake. PUT HIM TO RUN .. Use the spinal animation of the feets if you want to, but please this silde looks so cheap.

       
  4. I noticed that the 5-hit shadowmove caused 16% damage,where as a lot of the other character’s 5-hit shadows cause around 10-12% damage(minus juggles)…..not suggesting anything,just an observation

     
  5. Not too impressive but still getting there/still improving and at the same time still just in the EARLY stages of development. Overall quite cool and awesome and not bad at all too 😉

    1. Indeed, yes. Of course too. Now November? That month is in the winter season and NOT fall. Since according to the latest teaser trailer, Season 2 will be release in Fall 2014 meaning it would likely be release either in September or October

  7. The stage is VERY FAN SERVICE.. On the background You can see The towers ki1 orchid stage. And also the building of the gym that looks very similar to some buildings in the street stage of ki1. I don’t like the victory poss I would like something like the punch to the screen on ki 1supreme victory. With his actual look it would be AMAZING. IN MOTION THIS TJ COMBO LOOKS A LOT BETTER.

     
    1. Yes, I COMPLETELY agree with u particularly on TJ Combo’s gameplay motion as well as fight mechanics

       
  8. So is no one going to point out that TJ seems to not do any “potential damage”, every attack seems to just take off a significant chuck of health. So that’s either his “combo mechanic” or they drastically changed the significance of doing combos

     
    1. I just noticed one sliver of potential damage that he did, so not sure why there doesn’t appear to be very much.

       
        1. Even ordinary hits still add potential damage that comes back after a brief moment, these include throws and shadows as well as most ordinary hits.
          Watch at 0:44, there is a raw shadow rush punch that has the properties of an ender.
          Compare that to something like Jago’s shadow tiger’s fury or thunders shadow call of the earth, both of which are enders, but still grant a significant chunk of potential damage when used raw.
          My idea behind this (which obviously is just an opinion) is that they significantly lowered his potential damage buildup and upped his raw damage to make juggling with him more effective.

           
          1. After going in to KI and testing some stuff I pretty much take back everything that I’ve said, strange how much you forget when you haven’t played the game in the past weeks.
            Still liking TJ however

             
  9. i like him, but the animation on his shadow charging punch needs tweaking, he looks like hes floating across the ground, and i honestly think his Intro and Outro need improvement

     
  10. That’s the shortest pre-fight intro in the game, ever! and say something before the fight, like “Bring it on!” like Jax.
