The clever chaps over at DK Vine recently had the opportunity to interview none other than Chris Sutherland, who was the announcer for the Classic Killer Instinct games’ iconic ‘C-C-C-Combo Breaker’, the character names, and everything else. He also returned to his famed role in Season 1 of the Xbox One game! But aside from his work on KI, he was also the lead programmer on many of Rare’s most well-known titles such as Banjo-Kazooie, the Donkey Kong Country games, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Viva Pinata, and many more.

DK Vine’s hour long interview–yes, I said hour long!–delves into Chris’s history with Rare along with revealing information on he and the other talented folks at Playtonic Games’ latest endeavor tentatively titled ‘Project Ukelele’, a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. So be sure and listen to the full interview below!
